I own quite a few SAKs being a collector & though I’d bought several SD models as gifts for family & friends I didn’t have one of my own so when I saw this at only £32 I thought I’d try one out. It’s fascinating & amazing what can be crammed into a 58mm. long body – BUT then I wonder what purpose it serves. I have the same dilemma with the full sized versions – you can have too much of a good thing. Most of the blades are of little or no use. If you only buy one SAK in your life get a Tinker large or small at around £17-£20. If it’s good enough for MacGyver it’s good enough for anyone! If you need one this small get the Rally – all the usable blades no gimmicks £13.

I can’t fault the product for the tools provided as I bought it knowing what it had.Considering the brand comparing it to other Victorinox products it’s fairly priced.To call it the ‘Mini Champ’ is a bit of an over-promise in my opinion. Again I can’t complain as I knew what it offered before buying but it would have been nice of victorinox to include a few things to make it more ‘champ’. A can opener or saw instead of a second blade or ‘cuticle pusher’… Integrate a useful function into the practically idle 1″ ruler/screwdriver. The deadly looking hook is kind of an unusual choice considering how many ‘compact/precision’ tools they could have chosen for this very pocketable device instead.Despite all the above I genuinely have found the mini champ to be very useful. The pen is especially handy (and to those who have a mini champ it’s even more useable when you open another tool to increase the length of the ‘pen handle’)I just think the name ‘mini champ’ was used too ambitiously.Very nice tool but so much potential left unfulfilled.I know this was expertly engineered by absolute experts and not everyone

I’ve argued with myself for ages about buying this knife I didn’t really need it as I’ve got a few SAK’s including the Swiss Champ and Huntsman (which is the best all round SAK) but I wanted the mini champ as I liked the idea of it.Out the box both tiny blades are razor sharp the scissors cut ok the nail file does the job I can’t see the point of the cuticle pusher?The pen works well and you have a choice of putting tweezers or a toothpick in the handle as you get both I’m sure the rest of the tools will work well on small light jobs.This is a tiny multitool the blades will cut paracord sharpen a pencil or open a letter or box that’s about it the scissors will cut your finger nails but felt like they couldn’t handle much more than that.I paid £31 for them with next day delivery they’re well made but in my opinion only worth £20 I think that would be a fair price for it.

This is a good quality swiss army knife at a reasonable price and it works as expected. I have not noticed any major problems with it. Still the best thing to put in the Watch Poocket of your Jeans!This is a little Marvel .I buy one everytime I pass mine on to friends/ Forget at the Airport etc.Because of this I originally bought Two and kept one for ages (over 20 years) and this I’ve just replaced due to ‘wear and tear’!I must have used it most days! They really are all the Knife you need for most things.The Scissors and Pen are often just what you need and the Tool range is Outstanding.Victorinox always turn out quality Kit at really quite reasonable cost.This is a Tool that pays for itself in no time.I would not be without one
