Jason Innes5.0: I’ve tried various protein powders over the years and have recently been comparing and contrastingseveral very different types including: Naked Seed (from the people who make Naked Whey and Naked Rice) Sprouted Brown Rice Protein High-Fiber Hemp Protein Fermented Pea Protein and Grass-Fed Whey Protein Concentrate.I began to question my prior pick Sprouted Brown Rice Protein due to the bitter flavors in the powder. As far as I’m aware this is a leftover concentration from the fermentation process which is actually healthful but it was a bit oft-putting and I thought maybe I had a mild reaction. It could be psychological and from the flavor however.Of all the proteins this Soy protein is by far the most neutral. It is VERY clean and pure to all my senses. This makes sense since it is an isolate and the others are not but it’s purity and neutrality leave me with a very good impression.Upon sampling a hefty serving I have noticed no gastro-intestinal issues in comparison to some of the others.I feel as if it is a healthful pure and clean protein of the highest standards and anyone who is wary of soy should give it a try. Just because a lot of over-processed soy junkfoods give the crop a bad name good products like this exist that people should not shy away from.
Amazon Customer3.0: I really like Bobs Red Mill brand so I really trusted this to be what I purchased. However the macros are off (as shown in photo) and the flavor is…. overwhelming in my rolled oats with almond butter cinnamon AND chocolate. I don’t think I’d buy this again BUT I do want to finish it bc I might change my mind… I tried it in soy milk.. NOPE way too thick (still guzzled it down tho lol can’t waste protein on a vegan diet or else the meat eaters will come after me about where I get my protein from Lolol). All jokes aside it’s okay 4/10
Chris5.0: I recently started tracking my diet on Fitbit and surprised to find I was low on protein. Not a vegan or vegetarian just don’t eat much meat. Thought I ate enough other protein rich foods. So looked for a non-flavored protein powder to add to my daily oatmeal. I already add Bob’s flaxmeal to the oatmeal so decided to try Bob’s protein. It has no taste it doesn’t affect the consistency of the cereal and adds 5g of protein to my diet every day. Have I noticed any improvement in my health? No not really. I didn’t have many complaints before. But I’ll assume it has long term benefits so I’ll keep doing it. One negative: it does tend to clump up. But I also add fruit to the oatmeal while it’s cooking and I’ve found that stirring it with the fruit will break up the clumps.I went with Soy protein rather than whey products because sometimes when I eat ice cream I get a stomachache. I don’t drink much dairy milk. I already eat tofu and soymilk so decided on the soy powder.
Lucira Jane Nebelung3.0: I bought this because the Amazon picture of the packaging for one bag had the “nonGMO Project Verified” symbol.I received the product today and verified on the Bob’s Red Mill website that this is no longer the case. I haven’t decided whether I am not I am going to return it. GMO products are generally used to allow Roundup/glyphosate herbicides.
Sandy105.0: This protein powder mixes into everything. Most protein powders have too much flavor even “unflavored” and “unsweetened” can have loads of added flavorings. Other plain protein powders like whey or hemp have strong flavors or textures. This is the most plain easy to use that I have found.
